Who the fuck are Elektro Willi und Sohn? 

‘Elektro Willi und Sohn’ are running a small shop for washing machines in the city of Aachen, Germany. On the side, Willi builds synthesizers and music-machines out of discarded electro-scrap, and he even already had some modest success as a part-time-musician. Willi’s lazy son Klaus writes poetry and is the editor of a small underground literature magazine called [SIC]. 

In 2005, Klaus was really pissed of with the snobby literature-business and felt unfulfilled working at the small store. What he wanted was Rock’n’Roll. And he wanted it NOW! Or at least Beat Poetry! Willi understood and sympathized with his angry son. So Willi and his son Klaus left Aachen for Hamburg to rock the legendary ‘Golden Pudel Club’. Unfortunately, Klaus got so drunk there that he lost all his texts, so he improvised a perky, punky reading and after this small session, old Willi took over and rocked the crowd with his dirty electro vibes. It was a blast. Elektro Willi and his son asked for beer, the crowd asked for an album. So now… here it comes in 2008.
