House Kitchen Vol.01 Mixed by Jaimy [Drum Mode]

House Kitchen is a new compilation series on Drum Mode. This first volume
is compiled and mixed by label owner Jaimy and features 13 brand new
exclusive tracks. A musical menu for everyone that is hungry for some good
ol’ house music.

What’s on the menu?

Let us start by explaining the first course:

Charles Moui’s Intro Edit of E-Minor heats it up just the right way with
its warm and atmospheric energy.
Gently flowing into the next track by this artist, called Deep In Africa
that is a groovy deep house tune that has summer written all over it.

The 3rd track is one by Grooveact. The Original Mix of Loose Pants is a
combination of jacking and soulful deep house. A funky bassline and the
groovy rhythm and saxophone turn the energy level up a bit and really get
the right vibes flowing.
Up next is a brand new track by our Russian House hero Eugen Lisin, this
time teaming up with vocalist Alina. Together they have recorded the song
Out There. This version is a remix by Grooveact, and is a sweet melodic
vocal tune.

How You Make Me Feel by Sex & Candy is a nice and warm, pure house track
with just the right sexy vocal bits in it, that gives it a very sweet and
sexy appeal. The tune is a like a warm sunray that heats up your body all
over.

Now that we’ve had the first course, here is an idea of what the main
course is about:

Served is 4Play by Jaimy. This is an amazing disco house gem. The catchy
piano and beautiful violins guided by the disco beat and groovy bassline
make this a great track to drop when you want to give people a taste of
what its all about.

Jaimy & Kenny D bring Showing Horns to the plate and it is a hot one!
Immediately from the start is says ‘get up and dance’ by the Latin
percussion
and pounding beat. Shakers and congas, funky basslines and chanting horns
make this a true house fest!

The Drum Mode Project take it from here with their Oh Na Na.
A hypnotic record with again loads of percussion giving it an Arabic feel
and
surely will put a spell on all those female hips. Taking over is a remix of
a track
that has been released on Drum Mode back in 2006.

Impress Me by Dutchican Soul & Dulac got reworked by Jaimy and he turned it
into a fresh sounding arrangement with all the proper ingredients to take
you on a trip.

This leaves us with the final course and there are two more tunes we’ve
boiled up for you:

Hitting it off dirty and nasty are United Fruit Company with their Need U.
This tune is addictive right from the start and the catchy electro
influenced vocal won’t let go of you. This bring us to the next track and
its another one by Jaimy & Kenny D, this time featuring Mary Prado. U Got
Me Burning has a strong club beat with a rocking guitar and dirty synths
leading to an intense climax that is definitely peak hour dance floor
material.

Meeting On The A-Train is a track by Soul Collector who have released quite
a few slamming tracks this year already. The samba starts flowing and never
lets you go with the electrifying organ, groove of the bass and drums. Last
but definitely not least is a track by Jaimy himself named Last Man
Standing Strong. Old-skool pads, intense rhythms with uplifting marimba
sounds and the dramatic violins penetrate deeply into your soul leaving you
in ecstasy.

This entire menu also comes in the form of a 67 minute mix version that
Jaimy has put together for those who like to sit back and enjoy all these
wonderful flavors of house music combined into one
