High Rankin: Caught between a yacht and a rude boy

The electronic-music industry isn’t necessarily known for high-concept music videos, but High Rankin ups the ante—at least for the dubstep scene—with the promo for his latest single, “Don’t Carry on Like a Rude Boy When Daddy’s Got a Yacht.”

Along with the video itself, there are several behind-the-scenes interviews to explain the creative process responsible for such an extraordinary piece of film. With characteristic restraint, Mr. Rankin told Beatport, “I feel I have really bared my soul with this video. It was an emotional process and I would very much like to thank everyone involved. Had it not been for them and for the love of our lord Jebus, it may not have become the thing of beauty that it so thankfully is.
