‘Hermano’, taken exclusively from Freak n’Chic’s premier compilation ‘Rendez-Vous’, is the first production effort from Uraguayan duo Martin TC and Guikle - AKA Monoblock. 

Part of the new era of South American producers - with influences including Matthew Dear, Surgeon, Heiko Laux, Pacou and Maurizio - they began producing in 2005, after moving to Valencia and developing an experimental techno-infused live show.

Dan Ghenacia signed Monoblock to Freak n’Chic after being “blown away” (said in a French accent) by their live show in Madrid.

Supporters range from Mary Ann Hobbs to Laurent Garnier to Tiefschwarz.

Heavy on the bottom line and holding down an undeniable funk-groove - South American style.
