Hercules unveils ‘professional’ DJ Control Steel

Hercules’ budget DJ controllers are quite popular with digital DJs, but the company hopes to attract DJs who take their spinning more seriously with the release of DJ Control Steel, a USB mixing console that the company claims is suitable for professionals.

The MIDI-controllable interface is surrounded by a solid metal case and contains two ‘decks’, plus a mixer in the middle with EQ and volume knobs, plus 13 rotary switches and 46 push buttons.

Hercules hope the 13” x 9.7” size of DJ Control Steel isn’t considered too large to be transported to gigs, and it even comes with its own custom over-the-shoulder bag to reiterate portability.

The product comes with Virtual DJ 5 software for Mac or PC.
