9 April, 2010 | 10.46AMMiami positively booms with new music come the end of each March thanks to the annual Winter Music Conference that sees most of the world’s top dance music talent jet in for a week of beach parties, pool gatherings, and club nights.
This year a number of the Beatport posse attended WMC, and like an army of trainspotters, they scoured the conference’s DJ booths, terraces, and back rooms, pen and paper in hand, in search of the biggest tunes.
They clocked everything from banging techno jams, to peak time progressive anthems, and house masterpieces, and noted the best ones down to produce this list of essential Miami tracks.
To their ears at least, these were the records that dominated WMC 2010.
