The electronic music industry took a bit of a hit recently with the demise of 3Beat’s label management and Amato distribution.
However, in times of change new institutions rise up and find opportunity in the chaos.
Such is the case with Groove Collection, a music community based out of the Netherlands that has quietly been building a world class label management division.
Ex-Extrema and Deep records head honcho Peter van Hal is working with Groove Collection’s Jerry van Schie to help build a roster of quality progressive house labels.
Proton’s Eelke Kleijn runs “Outside the Box” with them already, and rumor is afoot that both Anthony Pappa and Derek Howell will soon be launching digital imprints at Groove Collection as well.
The latest label to join the roster, Epsilon Trax, comes from Proton’s own Kosmas Epsilon.
So now the Groove Collection radio show is launching on Proton to help give some airtime to this rising progressive behemoth.
Luke Fair guest stars on the debut show with host mixes from von Schie and Fountain. Don’t miss it!
The Groove Collection show is now playing On Demand.
