Gray produces Kidd ‘Automatic’
17 October, 2007 | 11.34AM- Section: Music News Topics: House Nation
I’m a huge Michael Gray fan, and equally partial to the Eye Industries label and their releases.
When the two combine, it’s usually essential stuff.
‘The Weekend’ is a case in point.
Gray also produces upcoming star, journalist and singer, Laura Kidd, on the tougher and hooky electronic-styled ‘Automatic’ that reeks of the same programming and feel that made ‘Exceeder’ so huge.
This driving tech-etched electro number is cast from not only that mould, but also one that gave us the likes of Etienne De Crecy’s ‘Fast Track’ and Hiroki Esashika’s ‘Kazane’ – albeit a touch slower, with Kidd adding an angst punked-up vocal twist.
Big room action is assured with supporters already numbering Martijn ten Velden, DJ Paulette, Mark Knight, Eddie Thoneick, Tom De Neef, Tom Novy and Axwell.
