Grandpa Mojo is the musical genius playing the rhodes, synths, trumpet, guitar, and stand up bass on almost every track. Co-produced and mixed with 21 Dread, this duo has come up with some strikingly original trip hop, acid jazz, and dub. Relying on original compositions and live instrumentation for almost every aspect of production sets Grandpa Mojo’s fusion apart. True musicianship shines through with stylistic symmetry every time Grandpa’s hands touch an instrument. Woven together with breaks and psychedelic atmospherics, this beautiful musical vision rings out consummately. This is not your typical “downtempo/lounge” music.
