When you chose to have animations of purple broccoli flying around your music video, you can expect something fairly obscure from the music itself.

This quirky techno pop from the German electronic band The Kiosk is true to form.

Radio and dub mixes are underpinned by a ploddy heavy techno beat and bizarre, glitchy twitches and twangs.

Pulled together with the minimal “gogogogogo” vocal the rest of the tracks’ structure teeters precariously – looking about as stable as a sandcastle in a tornado.

It’s an interesting track that is strangely appealing but for fans of clean 4/4 beats, this is going to be like paper cuts to the eyelids.

The Coburn mix, on the other hand, is solid electro house and holds more widespread appeal.
