Glastonbury: it’s a washout!

Glastonbury festival properly kick started today and right on cue a torrential downpour arrived at Britain’s biggest music festival.
Steady rain is threatening to turn Glasto into a mud bath.
Most of the festival site’s pathways are now covered with around two inches of mud and wellington boots are now in abundance.
An on-site company selling wellington boots has just ordered in another 6000 pairs.
Today in the dance tent, Fatboy Slim![[a]](http://www.beatportal.com/images/site/misc/wiki_box_a.gif)
, the Klaxons, GusGus, Simian Mobile Disco and !!! are due to play.
The weather forecast for the rest of the weekend is equally as gloomy.
