SPOTLIGHT: THE SHAKE ‘N’ BAKE DJs

Darren Dee and Chris Roberts (the Shake ‘n’ Bake DJ’s) met in 2004 when they were placed DJ’ing at the same venue in Glasgow. Through a mutual love of music they planned and put together the ‘Funkadelica’ parties; putting some of Glasgow’s best and the UK’s up and coming talent behind the decks.

Darren and Chris have their own unique style - playing a blend of various house music genres - from funky to filthy the boys have it covered.

Between them they have played at some of the best nights in the UK and continue to do so.

Some of these nights from an exhaustive list include Colours @ The Arches, Coloursfest (Scotland and Ireland), Formulate @ Turnmills, Miss Moneypennys @ The Tunnel and most recently Sin; the latest edition to Glasgow’s nightclubs.

Looking ahead to 2008 Shake & Bake will be getting into the studio and recreating some of the magic they consistently fill floors to every weekend.
