Carlo Lio’s Rawthentic Music’s Label’s latest release of Gabriel Ben’s “Haunting Flutes” single packs a bit of funk, tech, and eeriness to dancefloors across the globe. The original mix is packed with some funky tech house elements with the relief of some spooky middle east flutes. Almost a cross of the reminiscent sound of Nick Warren twisted in some Deadmau5ish kinda way. Unique for sure. The remix comes from the Canadian duo of Strict Border. The guys provide a monotonous floor chugger with the eerie stabs of the “Haunting Flutes.” Either way this EP packs in the right punch for every kind of dancefloor situation.
