Following the success of their recent EPs, Variance proudly presents an exciting 2-tracker by Funk D’Void and Sian for their first collaboration outisde of scottish techno heavyweights Soma with the brilliantly titled “Puppet who can see his own strings” and “Red Egg”

Funk D’Void needs no introduction having enjoyed a string of success over the years (most notably “Diabla” & “Blood” under his Francois DuBois guise) he is recognised as an inspiration to many artists including Nic Fanciulli, Danny Howells and Tom Middleton.

Sian has quickly caught the attention of labels like PokerFlat, Soma and Bedrock whilst commmading attention from DJs including Loco Dice, Steve Bug, Carl Craig and M.A.N.D.Y and it’s easy to why.

“Puppet who can see his own strings” instantly grabs the attention with a heavy Moroder-esqe bass and rising synths backed with 80’s percussion for an anthemic masterpiece which is sure to dominate the worlds coolest dancefloors over the summer.  Red Egg offers a more musical vision with deep bass melting into a range of swelling sounds. Dreamy textures progress in waves throughout and build tension with distorted synths. We think you’ll agree, This release is HUGE!!
