Born in Colombia and based in Brazil, Gare Mat K [a] has been working in the movement of electronic music for well over decade with many of the world’s top Djs, recognized promoters and well known clubs around the world.

By he’s impeccable and strictly music selection, has gained the place to share stage with Cassius, John Digweed, Timo Maas, Loco Dice, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Stel, Pole Folder, Danny Rampling, BT, Hatiras, Tom Pooks, Sander Kleinenberg and Da Hool among others, as well as to warm up the Enrique’s Bumburi tour with more than 10,000 assistants.

Nowadays, He is part of a selected list of tastemakers, where most of upfront record labels, features its upcoming releases for review and feedback support.

Gare Mat K’s career has been in constant development, having performed in Germany, Spain, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Brazil, USA, and in Ibiza. In the mean time, has been invited to participate in well known music festivals in South America, with more than 50.000 people.

Since 2007, Gare Mat K [a] hosts two exclusive monthly radio shows on Frisky and Di.fm, with a clear music concept, having guests like Martin Eyerer, John Acquaviva, Timo Garcia, Stel, Aldrin, Alex Dolby, Italoboyz, Popof, Thomas Schumacher, Dave Pezzner and Stefano Greppi among others.

Besides, Gare Mat K has been the head behind one of well known Independent record labels, Progrezo Records [l], featuring releases since 2007 on Vinyl, Digital and compilation CDmix, including upfront artists and tomorrows best talents like the ones of Home Video [USA], Alex Young [Col], Alex Dolby [Italy], Kazell [USA], Erphun [USA], Pole Folder [Belgium], Paperlove [Brazil], Dubfunk [EU], Jeff Bennett, [Sweden], Anthony Pappa [UK], Aldrin [Singapore] and Giorgio Roma [Italy] among others.

Actually, from He’s new studio in Brazil, he is working with a tight schedule of remixes; as well as preparing whole of the stuff for his wanted artist solo album, to release in mid of 2011 year.

One of the his latest tracks, produced next to British Max Mason [a], (already featured in Desyn Masiellos’s Alternative Route and Armin Van Buuren’s Armada Music) entitled “Clean Sofia” featuring Xandek, will appear under Baroque Limited [UK], with remixes from Ben Coda [a] [Toes In The Sand, Polytechnic, Inkfish..] Norman Hines [Stripped Muzik] and more to announce.
