Franklin De Costa Lands in America this Winter

Always forward in their thinking, Listed Bookings is proud to present one of their newest additions to their roster - Franklin De Costa. 

Hailing from Frankfurt, Franklin has been moonlighting between his home city and the techno capital of Berlin for almost two decades.  Be sure to catch one of his rare States-side performances.

Never satisfied with the idea of being a purist, Franklin’s career has taken many twists and turns over the years.  He pulls his inspiration from all music that he encounters, both good and bad.  From working with analog sound production with his studio mate Yapacc or producing primarily beatless music in the mid ‘90s, Franklin has always had his sights set on quality, knowing that good sound takes time. When not throwing parties under the guise of “Green Empire,” he was gaining international recognition with releases on well known labels such as Trapez ltd, Karmarouge Noir, Einmaleins Musik and Treibstoff. His most recent productions, “Rollergirl” on Curle Recordings and “Another One Drowns” on Leena Music, have seen his musical stylings aimed at dance floor destruction with warbley bass line and uplifting melodies, injecting emotive soul into all of his work.

Franklin will be hitting both coasts later this month, starting in San Francisco on Friday, January 16th at the third installment of “Aural Therapy” hosted by Auralism Records. He then heads down to Los Angeles on Saturday, January 17th to play at “Hear 002” along with Jason Emsley from the Cologne-based Platzhirsch Schallplatten record label.  Finally, on January 24th, Franklin will be taking a bite out of the Big Apple with a headlining gig at an underground party thrown by the local reSOLUTE crew.
