Fort Knox Recordings releases SEE-I with Rodney Hunter Remix

Fort Knox Recordings presents
SEE-I – “How Could You”
featuring remix by Rodney Hunter

After years of collaborating with vocalists Rootz and Zee (Thievery Corporation [a] & See-I), Fort Knox Recordings [l] is excited to release the See-I single “How Could You.” The Fort Knox family has come full circle after sharing stages, musicians, and production for years with See-I.

Washington, DC’s own Thomas Blondet [a] of Rhythm & Culture Music originally produced the laid back, conscious vibe of “How Could You.” Blondet’s production combined with the smooth vocals of Rootz and Zee are the perfect combination. With a classic reggae feel, intelligent lyrics and a good dance floor beat How Could You delivers the goods.

For this first See-I single on Fort Knox Recordings, we have called on legendary producer Rodney Hunter [a] for a brilliant remix. His remake is featured on the upcoming New Gold Standard 2 compilation out this fall on Fort Knox Recordings. Rodney Hunter, from Kruder & Dorfmeister [a]’s G-Stoned Label, has remixed Fort Knox Five as well as the Gravediggaz, Doug E Fresh, Tosca and many more. This veteran remixer puts his unique touch on How Could You to make a wicked dubby tune with some serious skank going on.
