The Fort Knox 5 - a leading force in the international funk and breaks scene is back to Holland next week and presenting Steve Raskin’s magic alongside resident DJ’s of Sugar Factory’s Discocult.

Having released an arsenal of floor-rocking singles and remixes, FK5 clearly has the Midas touch for producing heavy hitting records.
Sid Barcelona, Jon Horvath, Rob Myers and Steve Raskin are the men responsible for the distinctive ‘Fort Knox Sound’, which has overtaken dance floors with its distinct interweaving of live instrumentation with funky electronic breakbeats. In 2006 they released the critically acclaimed ‘The New Gold Standard’ to showcase the groundbreaking sounds from their premier funk and soul label. HOT.

Discocult is Sugar’s own monthly platform for high-flying, jet-setting, trail-blazing globe-trotting DJs.
