Flying Lotus presents INFINITY

Somehow we missed this when it came online a few months ago, but none of the shine has gone off this hypnotic, 360-degree video of Flying Lotus with a full band (Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Thundercat, Ravi Coltrane, Rebekah Raff, Andres Renteria, Gerry Gibbs, and Andreya Triana).

Shot at BBC’s Maida Vale studios, it captures the combo performing “Infinitum,” part of Flying Lotus’s INFINITY project, for Gilles Peterson BBC Sessions: three minutes of pastoral jazz bliss that fades out just when it starts to get cooking. Fingers crossed for an eventual album release!
