Flutuance ‘Long Road’ EP
18 December, 2007 | 12.20PM- Section: Music News
The Brazilian DJs Bruno Mascotte and Leonardo Torha present ‘Long Road’ EP.
The Brazilian DJs Bruno Mascotte and Leonardo Torha have been DJ’ing since 1999; in the year of 2001 they joined forces and started to work together - and that would be the beginning of FLUTUANCE.
The duo has been playing in lots of major parties and festivals around the country in the past years and, in addition, 2 years ago, also got started with their own productions.
Aiming to aknowledge as much as possible and deepening their previous techniques, the young artists focused on studying Music Production and Theory, taking what they consider to have been “the most important step on their journey so far”, when joining the EMVL (VILLA LOBOS Public Music Scholl).
On the right path, in 2007, FLUTUANCE managed to reach an important position on the Brazilian eletronic scene, playing for massive crowds and making them go wild with consistent presentations and highly interactive performances. By then, they would also have their tracks requested by Plasmapool, a German joint of 11 labels, specialized in electro and with a clear view to whatever represents true “musical entertainment”.
Two of the biggest Colombian labels, Attary Records and Trebol Records, targeting tech house, techno and minimal, went down that same investment road with some of FLUTUANCE´s first releases, “DC Friends”, “Long Road” and “Tech Attack”, which has quickly achieved the respectable position of Beatport’s Top Sellers Tracks, leaving no doubt to the Brazilian´s Top Talents’ future.
And it´s already begun!
