2 September, 2008 | 5.54PMLuciano stopped playing Alex Picone ‘Floppy/Furby’ about six months ago, but it still took his label Cadenza that long to release the two-tracker tech house beauty.
Quite why ‘Floppy/Furby’ took such a long time to get released is anyone’s guess, but the double-decker is definitely worth snapping up.
This is wobbly groovy tech house, with that warm live Cadenza edge to it, and both tracks work perfectly on the dancefloor.
Alex Picone is a name to watch out for, and word has it Cadenza has some big plans for the Italian, Ibiza-based DJ and producer.
Let’s hope his follow up material is just as exciting.
