One of the awesome things about summer festivals is that the artists are often as excited about them as the crowd is.

With festival season heating up, we’ve asked a handful of artists to tell us what they’ve got planned, who they’re psyched to see, and how they plan to make it through the madness in one piece. Read on to get the low-down from Kaskade, Afrojack, and Chuckie, who all plan to turn Los Angeles’ Electric Daisy Carnival on its head this Friday and Saturday.

Kaskade

Have you played Electric Daisy Festival before?

Yes, this will be my third time.

How long do you plan to spend there, and which other artists are you excited to see?

I am chilling the whole weekend to take it all in.

What have you planned for your set?

Pulling out some of my older hits to bring it back a bit.

What festival survival tips do you have?

Come for the music, enjoy the people. and don’t be stupid.

Afrojack

Have you played Electric Daisy Festival before?


No, this year is my first time, but I’m sure it’ll be crazy.

How long do you plan to spend there, and which other artists are you excited to see?

I’m playing both days so I get to meet everyone, which will be fun, especially with Steve Aoki.

What have you planned for your set?

Lots of new exclusive stuff!

What festival survival tips do you have?

Come see me play before you take that stranger’s pill or try a backflip from a container!!

Chuckie

Have you played Electric Daisy Festival before?

This is my first time I will play at EDC. I’m so excited because I’ve known about this festival for years now, and finally I play at EDC!
Friday the 25th of June is also my birthday, so it will be an extra big party for me!

How long do you plan to spend there, and which other artists are you excited to see?

I will be playing two days, the 25th and 26th, so I will be there two days, it’s gonna be crazy, I promise!
I’m so excited to see my DJ friends the Swedish House Mafia, Fedde Le Grand, Afrojack, and Laidback Luke.
It’s been a big year for Dutch artists and I feel so proud that we are part of such a big event!

What have you planned for your set?

I will play a lot of my new remixes I have done lately, so get ready!
I’m also bringing some extra BIG BIG BIG room records with me. I can’t wait!

What festival survival tips do you have?

Make sure you rest and eat well if you’re planning to drink a lot! Also, drink a lot of water because it’s gonna be hot!
Ooooh, make sure you don’t miss my set!!!!!!
