Felinephonix Music //NYC Tech House at it’s Finest - Release #18, one more to Wax!
15 February, 2010 | 11.20PMFelinephonix Music
is back with release 17 and the introduction of three amazing producers to the label. Sameer delivers a landmark sound of deep, moody New York Tech House with a bassline drive that’s so true to school it walks on it’s own. Amazing cut to demand the attention of dancers with hot swag. Felinephonix Music is proud to bring one of New York’s finest DJ’s to the front of the production line, his time spent playing with the infamous Chocolate Factory has given him the insight to deliver a proper New York staple.
Ooh my, Richard Brown
aka Cherry Bomb, some might recall him from Leeds finest production team with Chris Duckenfield under the name, Swag, who released on the duo’s imprint Odori, as well as Glasglow Underground, Black Vinyl Recordings, Junior Boy’s Own, 20:20 Vision, Poker Flat Recordings, etc etc. If that’s not enough, Richard’s collaboration with Beaumont Hannant as “Outcast”, marked a couple of fine remixes for Bjork on One Little Indian and Elektra. Lookin for a peaker, this remix just takes the floor by storm and lifts off like a jet 740 on take off. Richard Brown, need we say more.
Tyler Brunton
, one of Vancouver, Canada’s up and coming hot selector’s has given Felinephonix Music a warped out west coast deep dub spot. A unique flavor with a percussive backspin, Tyler’s mix is rather twisted in the membrane, we love this sort of funk....bring it!
