Toronto’s rising indie dance stars Azari & III uploaded their first ever DJ chart to Beatport this week.

Over the past 18 months, the pair have become one of the most in-demand remixers on the Canadian dance circuit thanks to a deluge of brilliant dancefloor-friendly nu disco and twisted house releases.

In particular, their single ‘Hungry For The Power’ on I Am Cliche, dominated indie floors last year, and continues to be a mainstay for alternative house-inclined jockeys.

Their superb remix of Le Le’s ‘Disco Monster’ too, recently blew up on the disco floors thanks to its smashing melodies and heavy synths.

As expected, their Top 10 DJ chart contains all that is great about nu disco and indie dance currently.

Disco veteran Daniel Wang tops their chart, with his recent hit ‘East Village Hustle’. Nu Disco’s goldenboy Tensnake occupies the No.2 position with the brilliant ‘Coma Cat’. The duo’s own remix of Booka Shade’s soon-to-be-anthem ‘Bad Love’ follows that.

And with nods towards Detroit minimal (Robert Hood) and wacky electronica (Raquel Wolff & Rebolledo), there’s plenty of future-leaning grooves to play with.
