I never expected to see Diplo playing Moodymann—but then, I also never expected him to team up with Tiesto.

Both Moodymann’s ‘Shades of Jae’ and Diplo and Tiesto’s ‘C’Mon’ turn up on Diplo’s July chart for Beatport, marking possibly the first time that Tiesto and Kenny Dixon, Jr. have ever rubbed elbows in a single playlist. But then, that’s Diplo, a dude for whom traditional boundaries mean less than they do to a mole on the border.

Diplo’s top 10 is packed with sure-fire summer hits, like Drop the Lime’s infectious ‘Sex Sax’ and Yolanda Be Cool’s ‘Afro Nuts (Douster Mix)’, with more whistles and sirens than a bomb scare at the Notting Hill Carnival.
