Fatboy Slim to headline Wireless Festival

Fatboy Slim will take Daft Punk’s spot to headline this year’s Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park on July 5th.

Last year the French duo smashed all expectations with a audiovisual display that Norman is keen to beat.

“People have been going on about Daft Punk last year so I’ll have to look at the footage to make sure we do it right,” Norman Cook told British indie music rag NME.

With a new dance album due out in May, it’s expected that Fatboy Slim will use the headline spot to showcase tracks from his new LP.

Here’s a clip of Daft Punk destroying Wireless Festival last year. Looks like Fatboy Slim is gonna have to get himself a sparkly triangle thingy if he wants to kick some real ass.
