16 October, 2007 | 1.47PM- Section: Music News
As tends to be the habit of this legendary nightclub, Fabric London is celebrating the 8th acknowledgement of its birth in grand style. No guarantees that there will be cupcakes, but your ears are in for one extraordinary treat from Thursday, October 18th through Saturday, October 20th. Several live acts and DJs will be featured throughout the club’s three rooms.
Here’s a list of the participants that will be singing ‘Happy Birthday’.
We’ve also built a player below highlighting some of the artists that will be helping Fabric celebrate their 8th birthday.
Day 1, entitled ‘Adventures in the Beetroot Field’, features The Aliens (live), Sinden, Filthy Dukes, The Whip (live), Crispin Dior, Alphabeat (live), Jape (live), Opera House (live), Guns N Bombs (live), Envelopes (live), Lightspeed Champion (live), Theoretical Girl (live), Frank Musik (live), Untitled Musical Project (live), Pyrhha Girls, Thomas Tantrum (live), StopMakingMe, Ricky Haley, Les Petit Pilous, Brodinski, Casper C, Skull Juice and Dolby-Anol.
Day 2, called ‘FABRICLIVE.’ after Fabric’s CD series of the same name highlighting DJs who perform live sets from Fabric, features DJ Craze, Adam Freeland, Scratch Perverts, Krafty Kuts, Joe Ransom, Goldie, Andy C, Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith, J Majik, DJ Andy (Brazil), DJ Go (Mixologists), Macpherson, MCs GQ, 2 Shy & AD, Tayo, Skream, Ali B, Baobinga and Sick Rick.
Day 3, simply called ‘fabric’, is a real head-turner. Appearances by Craig Richards, Terry Francis, Ellen Allien, Cobblestone Jazz (live), Tobi Neumann, Dyed Soundorom, Ivan Smagghe, Optimo (JG Wilkes), I-f, Black Devil Disco Club (live), Neil Thornton, Rub N Tug, Omar-S and Pete Herbert (Reverso 68) all take place.
