The peripatetic house quartet Visionquest (Lee Curtiss, Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, and Shaun Reeves) manages to fit all members in the booth to mix up an elegant and esoteric 70 minutes of hypnotic deep tech for the latest installment of Fabric‘s legendary mix series.

Sweeping gently through a cloudy haze of vocals into the spellbinding basslines and clean kicks to be expected from the dons of deep, the Visionquest boys have put together a mix that may be one of the series’ best yet. You couldn’t expect less from one of the smoothest acts of 2011. Fabric 61 drops December 5, so tide yourself over with what the guys have previously released here, and check out what’s signed to their label of the same name here.

Shaun Reeves will be playing Fabric’s Room One this Saturday, but if you can’t make it, fear not: Fabric will be streaming his set (along with those of Brandt Brauer Frick and Le Loup) via their Awdio channel, so mark your calendars and tune in.
