Evil Exists with Telemetrik on Black Sun Empire

have been championing drum & bass new boy Telemetrik
for some time now.
Word of his name has been spreading widely, whilst news of his heavy, techno influenced drum & bass flavours has been circulating like the plague.
Only now, with the release of ‘My Lightyear Album EP002’, can people finally understand what the rumours are all about.
In the second installment of the ‘My Lightyear’ series, Telemetrik delivers a heavy hitting, atmospheric package only worthy of the Black Sun Empire.
The first track, ‘Exit Civilization’, has an epic science fiction style synth line dominating over the drum loops.
On the second track, ‘The Bane’ there’s a much heavier build up, whilst ‘Evil Exists’ is a darker, more subtle track featuring a widely known sample courtesy of The Smashing Pumpkins.
The EP finishes with ‘Space Coke’, a track that leans more on electronica.
The final track has its uplifting and progressive moments, and is by far the stand out on the whole EP.
Its dynamic structure and deep synth lines mean it wouldn’t seem out of place in some epic Hollywood movie.
Overall, it is apparent that ‘My Lightyear Album EP002’ is going to be huge, and sees the arrival of a new contemporary in Telemetrik to rival the hard-edged masters Noisia and Black Sun Empire.
