Variance Recordings returns with a very special remix package for their seventh and most exciting release to date.

“Dark Matter” is the brainchild of Darren Emerson & label boss Jamie McHugh. The duo started working together last year after Jamie signed his debut artist album “Mind Games” to Darren’s acclaimed Underwater imprint. After reminiscing about days gone by the pair realised they shared a love of old skool house & techno, a lengthy studio session soon followed and “Dark Matter” was born. “Dark Matter” is a late night acid house adventure with some beltram-esque touches, eery rave samples and a menacing bassline - to put it simply the tune is huge. For the remixes we’ve hand picked some of the world’s hottest producers, between them Burnski, Camea, Harvey McKay, Kingpin Cartel & Manuel De la Mare have featured on some outstanding labels including Poker Flat, Minus, B-Pitch Control, Soma, Innervisions and many more…
