Elevator Suite impress with ‘The Wheel’

The Elevator Suite [a] self-titled second album has already got the critics reaching for their thesaurus for another batch of superlatives.

From it, Pure Mint [l] Recordings have elevated ‘The Wheel’ to single status, and it too is an equally sublime slice of mooted electronic bliss.

Not least in Crazy P’s beautifully constructed remix that paints a vivid soundscape employing Balearic-kissed beats, rolling dance grooves and subtle nuances that sound more delicious with each successive play.

Instinctively groovy, occasionally laid-back, but always polished and musically hip, man.

Then there’s Alex Metric [a] musical flare and sharp production savvy on his equally yummy upbeat electronica version, while Pure Mint label mate Michael Morph, and Long Range – the celebrated new project by Orbital’s Phil Hartnoll more then acquit themselves.

And as a bonus the group even offer their own tripped out take on Beatles classic ‘Eleanor Rigby’.
