I have heard of people suffering from arrythima—so high was their anticipation—when told that Daniel Bell was planning to bring his classic deep house label Elevate back to life after ten years of silence.

Now that the first release has hit the shops, I can only recommend to all of you in danger of serious deep house-induced heart conditions to take a deep breath and relax!

And as far as I can say, the label that brought us the very first Theo Parrish EP back in 1996, does not dissapoint you if you are into deeep late night house grooves.

Once again Daniel Bell has proven that he knows the score when it comes to signing new talents.

Baaz, the name of the new kid on the Elevate camp [check out his other release on Swiss Sthlmaudio in the player], apparently is from southern Germany, and the three tracks on the ’Few Days EP’ are beautifully deep and soothing.

It’s a very promising start into the second chapter of Elevate. Hopefully Daniel Bell will decide to re-release a few goodies from the back catalogue - the LoSoul EP with the awesome Theo Parrish remix, in particular (Daniel, if you read this ..., just do it!).

And maybe there is even new DBX material waiting for us. Only Dan Bell knows.
