Willi’s lazy son Klaus writes poetry and is the editor of a small underground literature magazine called [SIC].
Alongside the debut album ‘Diamanten’ comes a digital re-release of the ‘Töne in mein Haar EP’ (’Tunes in my Hair’), including new mixes by Holz

In 2005, Klaus was really pissed of by the snobby literature-buisiness and his work in the small store. What he wanted was: Rock`n Roll. - Now! Or at least Beat Poetry! Willi understood and sympathized with his angry son. So Willi and his son left Aachen for Hamburg to rock the legendary ‘Golden Pudel Club’ at ‘Fischkai 27’. But Klaus was almost to drunk to read and lost all his texts, so he improvised a punky reading and after this small session, old Willi rocked the crowd with his dirty electro vibes. So altogether it made a great party - Elektro Willi und Sohn brought down the house.
Willi and son returned to their store and realized that they had to change their lives. They got bored with nasty customers and frustrated of outstanding debts. Suddenly, Klaus had an idea: „Let`s make some music together! From now on, I will write the lyrics and sing, you`ll arrange the sounds!“ Willi became absolutely enthusiastic: „That`s the solution to all our problems! My dear, from now on, we’re rocking together!“
The first tracks came to them quickly and easily. Everything was going incredibly well. Father and son thereupon arranged a special gig in their hometown to celebrate the end of their crisis and share their happiness with other people. The motto was: “When Willi is going to start, you don’t rock soft, you rock hard!“ Just before their first gig, the two musicians began to scruple: „Did we promise to much? What would mother say to this? Will the police brek up the party?“ So just in case, they donned masks and put on pink bunny-ears for the event.
Finally, the party started, the audience was riding and dancing into deep technoid rhythms and funky bass lines all through the night. Even the police made some amusing visits. Everything was really ecstatic and orgiastic. Elektro Willi and his son asked for beer, the crowd asked for an album.
... So now, here it comes in 2008: ‘Diamanten’ (’Diamonds’)
