Dyami Records presents Torro Remote ‘Prog EP’
19 March, 2008 | 3.14PM- Section: Music News
Experimenting with music since the age of 14, it is with no doubt that this man is following the footsteps of his influences such as Trentmoller, Bookashade and his hero Eric Prydz.
His official breakthrough delivered us what James Zabiela found worthy of using as his legendary set opener ‘Fight Club EP’.
He has now produced a series of Prog tunes: 100 & 300, that Dyami proudly signs in a two EP package.
Hernan Cattaneo, Argentina’s wonder, has fervently supported Prog 100 by including it in his latest Essential Mix and charting it in February.
With support coming from Sasha, Nick Warren among others, no doubt it’s great second release from Torro Remote.
Prog 100 uplifts us with a marching beat, a softly rising and enduring groove with a melodic chord driving towards a recurrent bounce - giving us a steady uplifting setting a lovely musical mood.
Prog 300 starts with strings reminding a tone of Disco influences, softly elevating, hitting chords with a funky xylophone groove, revealing a soft appeal to consistent prog all while maintaining a twisted clap.
While awaiting a series of remixes, here are two mesmerizing tunes willing to set a genuine musical feeling for dancefloors.
