Recently signing his latest single “Dubfunk – Is This L.A” to Global Underground, going out on the label’s acclaimed compilation GUMIXED:2 Limited edition.

We catch up with him to discover more about him, his sound & what’s behind the scenes for the coming period.

-First of all, who are you?

I’m just a simple person who is totally in love with music in general & EDM in particular…….

-You’ve cut such a long way in such a short period of time, how it all started for you with production?

It all started back in December 2006, during an after hour following my gig in Buenos Aires, it was hazy gray & raining, this is where I actually felt so inspried to start my production career.

-So, what was your musical inspiration before that?

I’ve always been inspired during my teenage period by rock music, the likes of Led Zepplin, Nirvana, Nina Simone, The Doors, Depeche Mode & loads others to mention had a big influence on me.

Electronically was Faithless, Underworld & specially Sasha & Digweed “Northern Exposure” back in 1997, which I consider one of the best eras in EDM.

-How you describe the sounds of your production?

As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve always been into rock music, which in a way got me to discover the very deep side of me, my sounds just represent this particular side, my inner state mostly take control of what I’m producing & playing.

-What is the secret behind getting so far into the road of success?

Simply hard working & totally being myself, I just go ahead creating my own new sound totally driven by my own mood.

And by the way, I still got loads to do before I can call it success.

-What’s your favourite of your own tracks?

Actually each one of them does have a certain flavour to me, but I consider “Is this L.A?”, “Alive” & “Penetration” my most favourite.

-What’s your favourite of your tracks of the other producers?

That’s really a hard one to answer, there’s so much nice stuff out there, but recently I had “Daniela Stickroth - Chest in the Attic (Original Mix)” which I really fell in love with.

-Who’s your favorite producers at the moment?

There’s loads of great producers out there now after the digital revolution, Jim Rivers, Roland Kleinenberg, Solaris Heights, Gui Borrato, Robert Babicz, Martin Buttrich, Christian Fischer are some of the names I record at the moment.

-So, what’s next in your plans?

At the moment I have my single “Is This L.A” going out on GUMIXED: 2 Limited Edition on 3rd Septmeber, then by mid October will have a 2X release including “Penetration” & “Alive” which have had an early support by artists such as Hernan Cattaneo & John Aquaviva.
