Dubfire launches iOS Remiix Contest

With your iPhone, you can pilot a techno kitten, turn your friends into zombies, take imitation Polaroids—and now, you can also remix Dubfire.

To celebrate the release of his new Remiix Dubfire iOS app, he’s launching an affiliated remix contest, the winner of which will have his or her remix released on Dubfire’s own SCI+TEC Digital Audio imprint, to be made available exclusively on Beatport.

To enter the remix contest, all iOS users need to do is download the Remiix Dubfire app ($2.99/£1.79/2.39€ from Apple’s App Store), remix and record their performance, and then upload their track via the Record & Share function. After a period of voting (entrants can have friends vote for their remix through a Facebook “like” button) the competition will end on 17 December 2011. Dubfire will then listen to the top 50 most voted-for remixes before selecting his winner.
