One doesn’t normally associate Manchester with drum & bass, but with the likes of Marcus Intalex and Dub Phizix making their mark upon the local landscape, it might be about time to change our original perceptions.

Dropped on DBridge’s forward-thinking Exit Records, ”Marka” will be a challenger for drum & bass record of the year without a doubt. Its slick production and its rolling bass and punching kicks are complemented by Skeptical’s hypnotic vocal lines.

Already getting massive support in the clubs, this record bridges the minimalistic stlye of drum & bass with some of the bigger club anthems and will be beckoned for a rewind in years to come.
