DT8 is the brainchild of tech/trance producer Darren Tate, who’s no stranger to the pop charts, with over a dozen UK top 40 hits to his name in an assortment of guises that have included Jurgen Vries and Angelic.

But as the DT8 Project he has secured the most success with a string of hits that include ‘The Sun Is Shining Down On Me’, ‘Destination’, ‘Winter’ and most recently, ‘Hold Me Till The End’. 

For his latest single, ‘The Power Of One’ DT8 is paired with versatile vocalist Shena – herself no stranger to the upper echelons of the chart having sung on Michael Gray’s ‘The Weekend’, and most recently Starchaser’s ‘Let Your Mind Go’, ‘Guilty’ for De Souza and Solitaire’s upcoming single ‘B.I.T.C.H.’.

‘The Power Of One’, taken from the DT8 Project’s forthcoming album ‘Perfect World’, and is another well-crafted electronica house offering in keeping with past journeys, and that comes accompanied by a handful of mixes that include Kinky Roland’s dirty electro-etched retooling, pure trance from Mike Shiver and burbling progressiveness from Soulshaker.

But my vote goes with Mr. White’s quirky version that truly adds a new dimension to the DT8 sound.
