Douglas Greed‘s most recent longplayer, KRL, was a sleeper revelation, full of wintry electronica and melancholic tech house. It’s the kind of album that reveals a little more with each subsequent listen, within lush and ever-shifting textures of analog instruments and digital production.

The new video for Greed’s album track ”Love Is Not A Trick Candle” creates a similar contemplative atmosphere as the video for the album’s lead track, ”Pain," did a few months back. “Love Is Not A Trick Candle” is one of the deeper cuts off the album, and it’s matched with soothing images of glaciers disintegrating in slow motion—you can practically feel the chill rising off both the ice floes and the track’s mournful strings.
