We’re only four months into 2009 and UK producer Joshua Harvey, aka Hervé has yet another album out. Quite clearly he never knows when to stop, or maybe, he has multiple personality disorder.

Having put out one of the year’s biggest selling compilations ‘Ghetto Bass’, he’s currently working on a debut album with fellow bassline culpit Sinden.

Now somewhere along the lines he has found time to produce a downtempo album for Loungin’ Recordings, released April 20th.

Recorded under his ‘The Young Lovers’ pseudonym, he mixes up swing time jazz, flamenco guitars and cool summer vibes on the LP which is his first outing under his chilled out alter ego. It couldn’t be further from his Herve productions.

The Young Lovers album highlights the diverse and expansive talent of Joshua Harvey and shows he’s much more than a bassline factory, however with so many different pseudonyms and musical personalities from The Count and Sinden, Action Man, Voodoo Chili and Hervè, how does Joshua remember who he is from day to day?
