Trance goliath DJ Tiësto has the biggest pull out of any DJ in the world, so it makes sense that he’ll be performing in the world’s biggest club, Privilege in Ibiza, every Monday throughout the 2008 summer.

After all, DJ Tiësto is probably the only DJ that could fill the cavernous Privilege - British promoters Manumission managed to do it back in the day, but they had to have sex shows with midgets and blokes sucking their own willys to pull in 10,000 clubbers every week.

DJ Tiësto won’t have any sex shows, but you can bet he’ll pull out all the stops to ensure the Ibiza punters get what they paid for.

‘[Privilege will be decked out] complete with a totally new and future tech production, a newly designed and customized DJ booth, a full state of the art LED back wall, and the latest new design when it comes to light and video’ said a press chap related to the event.

He bragged: ‘Without a doubt [we’ll] deliver the highest quality night this summer on the entire island.’

Perhaps for trance fans, yes.

DJ Tiësto seemed excited about his residency at Privilege.

“It’s the place to be when it comes to the most crazy and energetic parties”, he said.

“At the same time Ibiza has a lot of beautiful and still secret spots to be discovered, so my love and dedication for the island, its atmosphere and the party people will most definitely be felt by everyone who’s going to enjoy my residencies at Privilege.

“Knowing that I will play the latest and best new tunes available, all shows backed by the highly professional production of the club and the fact that I will be able to deliver this to the people in the biggest club in the world, well, you can’t afford to not come to Privilege on Monday nights this summer!”

DJ Tiësto’s residency at Privilege begins on July 7th 2008 and he’ll be playing every Monday until 22nd September.
