DJ Sender at Amsterdam Dance Event
DJ Sender at Amsterdam Dance Event
17 October, 2007 | 2.00AM41 club with special parties, 566 artists and DJs, plus 57,000 visitors.
DJ Sender
, the founder of the Send Records
, is going to visit 12th annual Amsterdam Dance Event from 18 to 20 of October.
ADE is well–realized idea where representatives and DJs from different labels all over the world can present their unique tracks, as well as just take a rest with their mates.
We had a conversation with Yevgeniy Yevtukhov (AKA DJ Sender) before his departure.
What is your main goal on this fest?
I’m going to introduce Send Records label and its sub-labels (Click Recordings, Receive Records, Deepin Records and Reboot), as well as present the company’s services, and to find partners in general.
What activities or events are you going to visit?
I really want to visit PromoOne by Beatport and the managers debate at Felix Meritis.
(Felix Meritis is the European centre of Art and Science, founded in Amsterdam in 1777; these days, Felix Meritis is popular in Europe and the Netherlands as a place where meetings, concerts, debates, public events and festivals are held.)
I also want to see the club circuit!
Who do you want to meet with?
I hope to meet many top artists, managers and label owners, promo agencies from different countries and other representatives of the club industry.
You have already visited ADE in the past. Have you made appointments there this year?
Yes, but not many, around 5-7 meetings.
Actually, you can meet familiar faces just in the corridors or outdoors.
Last year you took CD promos from Sending Media Group to ADE. Will that be the case this year?
I’m carrying samplers and also unsigned material for those labels that are interested in releasing music by our artists.
What do you expect to get from ADE?
New contacts, new acquaintances and new material.
