DJ Gregory’s seminal house classic ‘Elle’ has been retouched by remixers du jour Ame, and have managed to pull off the near impossible by producing a track almost as brilliant as the original. Their deep summery rework of ‘Elle’ keeps the classic vibe of the original’s strings and keys, whilst at the same time making it housier and deeper.
Added percussion gives the track a real deep house feel and takes Ame further away from their usual minimal techno facet.
Also, word on the street is that Ame have also just remixed the new Underworld track ‘Crocodile’.
