Rotterdam-based producer Jaimie Fanatic is about to blow up with a new single out on Mad Decent that officially initiates him into Diplo’s crew. They’re proving to be one of the tightest, coolest, and most successful music-production rings in the business, moving glowsticks in Boise as easily as they’re shaking asses in Baltimore. 

And from what I’ve heard so far, this honor is more than deserved.

Besides Fanatic’s already stuck-in-your-head debut single ‘What’s Happening To Ya’ causing waves, and his forthcoming album due out in the summer, this overachiever has also recently remixed Armand Van Helden, Fatboy Slim, Audio Bullys, and Princess Superstar, to name a few. Oh, and he’s also a semi-professional photographer. Phew!

With support from DJs like Switch, Laidback Luke, Tommy Sunshine and more, this Dutch-Indonesian dynamo offers a blend of house, electro, fidget, and even a bit of hip hop.

To give us a taste of the beats and treats we can expect to hear from him, Jaimie has uploaded a Top 10 DJ chart to Beatport filled with booty-shaking electro goodness, which includes his production and remix work with AC Slater, SebastiAn, Brodinski, and Dance Area, plus labels Cheaper Thrills, Ed Banger Records and Phantasy Sound.

Jaimie, if you’re listening, I wouldn’t put too much stock into that photography lark… I think you’ve found your calling.
