Chromeo, the self-styled only successful Jew/Arab partnership since the dawn of time, have shaken hips from Montreal to Mecca ever since the release of their LP, ‘She’s In Control’, on Tiga’s Turbo Records.

Musical love-making is the name of their game, with seductive synths and virile vocoders as the aural equivalent of oysters and champagne.

Their recent notch in the acclaimed DJ-Kicks bedpost sees libido levels rise through the roof, and in celebration of this conquest, the Canadian crooners have selected nine of their top Beatport tunes for that extra bit of oh la la.

Fake Blood ‘I Think I Like It’

I think this is incredible. It’s disco house, but with an off-beat, almost Dilla feel to it. It’s just subverted enough.

Poni Hoax ‘Antibodies’

This came out a while ago but because it’s still somewhat under the radar, we’re charting it. Everybody needs to hear this track.

Phoenix ‘Lisztomania’ (DerDieDas Remix)

It’s not easy to remix a Phoenix cut. This may be the only one that succeeded off their last record. It’s really fun to play out as well.

Boys Noize ‘Jeffer’

This is one of the only techno tracks I can listen to at home, on repeat. A production masterpiece.

Siriusmo ‘High Together’

Another production wunderkind...look for Siriusmo’s amazing remix of our latest single, ‘Night by Night’. I hear Dilla influences on this track as well...maybe I’m just in a Jay Dee mood today.

SonicC ‘Stickin’

If you’re DJing and want to go to the bathroom, throw this song on and I guarantee the crowd will go nuts for a good five minutes. Quite impressive that it’s produced by a 17 year-old from Florida as well.

Titan ‘Bruxism Groove’

Another nice disco house number. Do I hear a Delegation sample?

Malente ‘I Like It’ (Riva Starr Remix)
