Dieselboy gives premium drum and bass in Montreal

It’s not every day that Montrealers get treated to the sounds of premier drum & bass DJ and Human Imprint label owner Dieselboy, and Thursday’s blistering set at Le Petit Campus was not to be missed.

Local heavy hitter Generic started off the night’s festivities with a slew of unreleased cuts from Doc Scott’s 31 Records — and much to the delight of the packed crowd of revelers, the sonic assault only intensified as the massive tune by Atlantic Connection ‘Can’t Hide It’ hit the decks.

Not to be outdone, Dieselboy then proceeded to tear the house down with some killer unreleased material, including a ridiculously tight Mobb Deep jump off, which had the young and enthusiastic crowd crawling up the walls.

It goes without saying that as 3 a.m. came and went and the lights came up, a good time had been had by all.
