DiDark - 30 EP
DiDark - 30 EP
12 January, 2011 | 11.25AMDihox Records
new release by DiDark
Following up his highly successful “Vitalis Calor EP” from earlier this year, DiDark
now delivers two original new cuts in the shape of “Triginta” and “Decennis” which together form the “30 EP”.
The release kicks of with “Triginta”, an intense and driving techno / house hybrid that kicks off in full flown and keeps up the pace until the closing bars. Percussive loops, tight vocal snippets and subtle melodies fuse together to create a superb incessant groove and provide a track that is certain to set dancefloors on fire wherever it is dropped.
The flipside sees DiDark
drop “Decennis”, a rollin bass driven tech house number that takes on a Cuban flavour in the breakdown. Offbeat stabs, bumpin bass and tough drums provide the soundbed for the main track, whilst the drop turns up the heat with a mix of latin flavoured melodies and rhythms that is certain to get any party started.
DiDark and his DiHox label certainly seem to know what works on the dancefloor and these latest offering are certain to further their reputation as an artist and label to watch out for…
