Ever been to a club and heard a DJ drop a great record that afterwards you were desperate to name? Or ever listened to a DJ mix and felt compelled to track down that bomb from 00.15.36?

Yes, we have too. That’s why we’ve decided to launch a brand new Track ID section on Beatportal, which we’re calling BeatDetect.

Simply embed a YouTube (or any embeddable web video) clip of a DJ dropping a killer track, or upload an audio clip of a tune that you really what to ID, and the ever-knowledgeable Beatportal community will hopefully ID it for you.
