Denon, a name not exactly renowned in the DJ industry, have just released the cute S1200.

After you click the schematic and check out this thread’s video, you’re probably going to want one.

It’s hard to believe the first consumer computers were made only thirty years ago.

OK – I’ll spare you the history lesson – we all know that as technology progresses hardware gets smaller.

And the S1200 proves this statement.

Pro CD decks surely can’t get much smaller than this.

Well, not length-ways anyway (the unit is a little chubby).

The coolest thing about the S1200 is that you can slot a USB stick into its back and daisy chain S1200s together, saving you buying more storage devices.

It really isn’t unfeasible to suggest taking this to a club, slapping it on top of a Technics 1200 and doing your set from the equipment you prefer using.

But whether you can trust the S1200 is another matter – they’re quite pricy at around £695 per pair.
