Demi names NYC’s Love club his favourite

Britain may be home to some of the best clubs on Earth, but a boutique club in New York has been named by London-based DJ Demi as his favourite place to spin at.

Love club, in the Bronx, has won over the heart of Demi who holds the club in such high regards that he has announced he will be an exclusive quarterly residency at the venue.

“NYC has always been dear to me ever since Danny Tenaglia invited me out to play at Arc back in 2002,” noted Demi, who is also one third of DJ hellraiser posse SOS.

“I’ve had some incredible opportunities to play at many different venues across the world and nothing in my opinion has come close to the set up at Love.”

Love has been compared to Pawn Shop Lounge in Miami for its unique décor and chill out space, which includes a waterfall and booths carved into rock.

What’s more, sound wizard Gary Stewart designed the DJ booth and sound system, and everything was custom built to provide as good a sonic experience as possible.

Sounds like Beatportal’s kinda place.

Demi’s will begin his residency at Love on May 4th 2007.
